
AIDS DRUG ASSISTANCE PROGRAM
The purpose of the AIDS Drug Assistance Program is to ensure that underserved and uninsured individuals living with HIV/AIDS have access to life-saving medications.
Important: ADAP has instituted a Waiting List.
Are you Living in Florida and:
- Have low-income at 400% or less of the Federal Poverty Level?
- Uninsured or do not have adequate prescription coverage?
- Not confined to a hospital, nursing home, hospice, or correctional facility?
ADAP may be able to help!
What do I need?
In order to enroll, you must have the following:
- Eligibility for HIV/AIDS Patient Care services according to 64D-4, F.A.C
and the HIV/AIDS Patient Care Programs Determining Eligibility Staff
Procedures Manual
- Have at least one valid prescription for a medication on the
ADAP Formulary (breakdown by brand name)
ADAP Formulary (breakdown by dosage)
- Current (less or up to 6 months) Viral Load and CD4 test results

ADAP Workgroup
The ADAP workgroup serves in an advisory capacity to the Florida ADAP on the program’s drug formulary and some services for ADAP clients, as well as function as client advocates and advisory consultants.

Included in this Annual Report are cumulative information on drug expenditures and utilization, a section profiling each county and its performance, also known as the County Performance Report Card and articles on quality assurance and adherence for your review and information.
