ADAP Workgroup
The ADAP Workgroup is open to all interested parties in the HIV/AIDS community. Workgroup members function as client advocates and program consultants. Potential members should have at least two of the following: personal or professional knowledge of the disease, familiarity with clinical treatment, direct experience with clients, and/or a functional knowledge of Ryan White programs.
If a person has an interest in serving on the ADAP Workgroup, an application must be completed during a call for applications or during a new membership process. The ADAP Workgroup is composed of a limited number of non-voting representatives from the Bureau of HIV/AIDS and a larger majority of voting representatives from the community.
The ADAP Workgroup meets twice a year to conduct business and also holds conference calls in the interim to ensure continuity. For more information regarding the ADAP Workgroup, please feel free to send an e-mail to the Workgroup Liaison at ADAPWorkgroupCoordinator@doh.state.fl.us.
